Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) Civilian Response and Casualty Care (CRCC) Train-The-Trainer:

- First responder agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active attacker event. The Civilian Response and Casualty Care (CRaCC) course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004, provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. This course combines the civilian response with the Stop the Bleed Campaign, which empowers civilians to provide life-saving medical aid before first responders ever arrive. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, medical issues, and considerations for conducting drills. Participants in this two-day Train-the-Trainer course will receive a manual and PowerPoint presentation suitable for use in their own presentations.

ALERRT Medical Advanced Skills Course (MASC):

- ALERRT introduced a new 8-hour Medical Advanced Skills Course (MASC) in 2018/2019 intended to provide medical first responders with best practices for the management of traumatic injured patients to enhance survivability and combat potentially preventable death specifically from active attacker events. Topics will include Pre-Hospital Damage Control Resuscitation (DCR), Compressible and Non-Compressible Bleeding Management, Hypotensive Resuscitation, Hemostatic Resuscitation, Airway Management, Tension Pneumothorax Management, Hypothermia Prevention and Management.

Active Shooter for Dispatchers:

- This course is a basic primer for all telecommunications personnel that prepares them for the unpredictable nature of hostile incident response. Some of the topics covered include: A basic history of active violence; A brief look at dispatchers involved in active attack response protocols; The psychology of fear as it relates to training and call taking; How to screen callers during an incident; Preparing your call center for violent incidents; The aftermath of these incidents and how to prepare your personnel for recovery. This two-day course includes force simulation training that allows dispatchers the opportunity to experience scenarios that mirror what their officers will go through. All safety equipment will be provided.

C3 Pathways School Safety and Violent Event Incident Management

We partner with The "I Love U Guys" Foundation to combine their research-based best practices — created by school administrators, psychologists, public space safety experts and families — with our decades of first-hand experience as first responders.
Together, with their team, we’ve created a life-saving curriculum to provide a hands-on training approach to School Safety and Violent Event Incident Management, better known as the SSAVEIM Program. SSAVIEM) is an 8-hour course designed to improve incident management and response integration of school personnel and emergency responders to violent events in schools.
The course provides a model framework for use by school personnel, law enforcement, fire, and EMS to improve time to threat neutralization, medical intervention, survivability of victims, and reunification of students with parents. As part of the SSAVEIM Program, your personnel will gain access to a revolutionary tabletop training tool that utilizes uniquely crafted, accurate scale, collapsible environment boards which provide a global view by all training participants. The system includes staging and command boards to develop those critical functions and poker-style resource chips that represent school staff, students, equipment, vehicles and various response personnel.
