Proof of vaccination or negative test:
All attendees and presenters are required to show proof of full vaccination* or a negative COVID-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to arrival at the event. Event coordinators need to designate one person to conduct a visual verification of documentation of vaccination or negative test upon the arrival of each participant and presenter. Documentation can be shown on an electronic device, including a photo saved to a phone of a vaccination card or test results. DOJ will NOT store information or keep a record of this information. Any person who is unable to provide proof of vaccination or negative test will not be able to participate in the event.
*According to the CDC, in general, people are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. At this time, booster shots are encouraged for all who are eligible, but they are not required to be considered fully vaccinated.
Face coverings
All participants must wear some form of face covering during the event. Face coverings can be removed when eating or drinking. In addition, presenters at the event may remove their mask when speaking if: (1) they are comfortable doing so; (2) they are fully-vaccinated; (3) wearing a mask would materially affect the quality of the presentation; and (4) they maintain adequate physical distancing from any other unmasked presenter. Participants and presenters should be encouraged to supply their own face coverings if possible.
Classroom
The classroom will be cleaned daily with disinfectant to include tables, doorknobs and commonly touched surfaces.
This course is a cohort training experience and will require group conversations.
Lunch will be provided on site as individual box style lunches.
Participant Restrictions:
Additionally, DOJ reserves the right to transition the course to a virtual classroom at any time based on CDC guidelines and the status of COVID-19.
