Presented by Assistant Attorney General Miriam Falk.
Need something to get your blood going this January? Join us for this free four-hour live webinar event on Stalking, January 12, 2023 from 8:00-noon.
Participants will work through the underlying dynamics of coercive control and apply that understanding to the specifics of stalking cases. Using the elements of the crime as a starting point, participants will learn to identify a stalking course of conduct, indicators of escalation, specific safety strategies, and how to develop a proactive response to the development of a prosecutable stalking case, including victim interviews at every level.
Attention will be given to cyber-stalking along with more traditional means of stalking, and the training will focus on intimate partner violence, including among teens and young adults. Assistant Attorney General Miriam Falk, joined by an advocate and law enforcement expert, will facilitate the presentation and discussions.
Credit for LE, CEU’s and CLE’s will be provided.
